Jubilate Children's Choir

Jubilate is a choir for children grades 3-9 with disabilities. Curriculum focuses on singing techniques, music theory, sight reading and social skills. It has the same goals as all of the choirs under Indianapolis Children’s Choir (ICC) with additional activities or adaptations to help reach set goals. For example, the way music is taught may be adapted to best fit the individual choir member. Children with disabilities may join other choirs under the ICC but Jubilate is an option if the other choirs are not the best fit due to a particular disability. Singers can also move on into other ICC activities/choirs. Director of Outreach and Choir Programs will discuss with families prior to beginning the program to guarantee children are placed in the most appropriate choir.
